Turbie Twist presents Miss Ohio, Ellen Bryan, with a check for $3008 for the CMNH

Miss Ohio 2011, Ellen Bryan, accepts a check on behalf of the CMNH from Turbie Twist President Christina Cummings.

Butler, PA October 28, 2011Turbie Twist, LLC is proud to sponsor Miss Ohio 2011, Ellen Bryan. Bryan spent the month of September biking 854 miles around Ohio to raise money and awareness for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Turbie Twist is pleased to be a supporter of the Miss Ohio bike tour and donated $3008 to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Before beginning the bike tour Bryan thought the hardest part of her trip would be riding her bike 854 miles. But that opinion changed after a few days of riding 40 miles and making an average of three appearances daily, “Honestly, the cycling wasn’t too much a challenge. If anything, the hardest part was keeping up with the busy schedule for 27 days.”

“Dry Idea” – Turbie Twist featured in Inc. Magazine

Here is an article in Inc. Magazine by Darren Dahl.

The story of two sisters and a hair towel

By Darren Dahl | From the June 2011 issue of Inc. magazine

“After they graduated from college in 2006, sisters Angela Carr and Christina Cummings started a business selling a product their father had created: an absorbent, fitted hair towel called the Turbie Twist. Carr recently spoke to Inc. about how the sisters turned the towel, which retails for $10 to $15, into a national sensation, with sales of $6.5 million and the No. 789 spot on the 2010 Inc. 5000…”

Apply Make-up as your Hair Dries

Check out this review by Marisa of Cool TV Offers

Cool As Seen On TV Offers

If you happen to be like me, you hate to have long, wet dripping hair down your back or neck. Often times I like to let my hair dry naturally, but I hate that cold, wet feeling on my neck and the consequential dripping down my shirt . With the Turbie Twist towel, I am able to keep my wet hair perfectly out of my face and off my neck post shower, so I am ready to then begin the daily beautification process. The Turbie Twist is incredibly easy to put in your hair, it holds nice and tight, and wont fall off your head, not even when bending over like the usual large, heavy, water laden bath towel I used to use. It is so great to be able to have my hair all wrapped up, I no longer have to wait until my hair is dried and styled just to put on my make-up.

A Must-Have: Turbie Twist Review and Giveaway!!

Great review by Hope’s Cafe:

“Wow, the product I am about to share with you is one that I quickly became fond of! I received a Turbie Twist and Turbie Band for review, and I am so thrilled! Honestly, I am wondering why it took so long for someone to come up with this idea! The Turbie Twist is a hair towel, made of super-absorbent material. I have to admit, I have never blow-dryed my hair unless it is absolutely necessary…I don’t like the damage, and, quite honestly, I just don;t have the time. So, I usually use a bath towel to dry my hair, and then it takes between 1-2 hours for my hair to completely dry. So, the morning after receiving my package, I was anxious to try this out. “

Small Invention Amazes Mommy Enterprises

Great Review by: Stefani from Mommy’s Enterprises

Sometimes the smallest little inventions seem to amaze me. I recently have been using this cool hair towel called theTurbie Twist. It is a super absorbent twist and loop hair towel that stays in place. If you are like me, you have probably had towels fall off your head. I was so excited to try out this product considering it is something I could possibly use every day.

The Turbie Twist has a design that fits on all head sizes so you can use it for yourself as well as the kids. So far the kids have not asked me if they could use mine yet because I don’t really want to share it. I normally keep a towel on my head for quite a while after I get out of the shower which makes this perfect for me! It is lightweight which means less strain on my poor neck.

About Turbie Twist…..

Turbie Twist was co-founded in 2006 by two sisters who, fresh from college took control of Turbie Twist and started working to innovate and revolutionize the product which they had been using since they were little girls. Angela and Christina’s creativity and hard work has paid off as the two female entrepreneurs took Turbie Twist to this year’s Inc. 500/5000 list of the fastest growing companies in America at # 789.

Christmas is coming very soon. This would make a great gift for moms, grandmas and daughters. Find out where you can buy a Turbie Twist by visiting: http://turbietwist.com. You can also Find Turbie Twist on Facebook and Twitter.

Turbie Twist Giveaway

Great Review by Valerie from Sweeps4Bloggers.
Sweeps4Bloggers

This is a simple, yet amazing product. When I read the description, I thought it sounded nice. Now that I’ve tried it, I’m hooked.
The Turbie Twist can be used on wet hair instead of a regular towel. It’s lighter and more absorbent – not sure how they did that, but it is. It’s not at all uncomfortable and it stays in place. My hair doesn’t come out the sides and once I twist it into place, it stays put.

I can also use the Turbie Twist to keep my dry hair up off my back and away from my face. It’s perfect to use while I’m washing my face or putting on my makeup. With the layers in the front of my hair scrunchies or a headband don’t keep all of my hair off my face – the Turbie Twist does. It will also keep my hair dry when I take a bath.

Turbie Twist a part of “The Art of Great Hair…”

“Since I switched to using a towel twist, Turbie Twist, hair towel like the above, my frizz has totally been cut down (not entirely, but a significant amount!) Using a regular towel is rough on your hair and can help break the cuticle which leads to split ends and frizziness. A set of 2 at BB&B is only $10, so it’s totally worth it!”
